For those of you who thought that BlackBerry Storm Firmware 4.7.0.75 Update would have had a big announcement about the update it did not, as it has leaked onto the interwebs. The first reports look positive, which is good for Storm owners.
For those of you who were hoping that this new update would be able to fix some of the issues that have hounded the BlackBerry Storm, then you should not hold your breath. You should know that Firmware 4.7.0.75 Update is a step in the right direction.
You should be warned that you download this at your own risk, only install Firmware 4.7.0.75 if you are happy to do so. Just remember that doing so could result in some problems with your BlackBerry Storm. If you have already updated your phone, then please let us know how it is.

The new update is Great!! addresses the major headachs such as.. Landscape and portrate issue seems to be resolved.. I have been working with it all day so far and it has not given me problems.. It loads apps and other options much smoother than befor.. I would have to say that I was ready to take the phone back until today.
I’m with Rob on this one. I was ready to dump mine before this update. My Verizon rep told me Friday Dec 5th it was going to be availble vie the Wireless Update in Advanced Options. The update has been a huge success for me. Landscape/Portrait issues are gone. Application switching is much faster. Answering the phone actually works now? Heck, even the keyboard seems more accurate.
