Black Friday Walmart Death: Lessons to Learn

There are some lessons to learn following the death of a Long Island Wal-Mart employee, who was crushed on Black Friday by shoppers who were in store to grab themselves a bargain. Now there are some strong questions that need to be answered about Americans who go wild on this huge shopping day.

Black Friday was meant to be a day of happiness, one where shoppers will grab some great deals, saving money, and it also marks the start of the Christmas shopping season. Black Friday 2008 will be remembered for something different, the day that fun was taken out of shopping.

Yael T. Abouhalkah, a Kansas City Star Editorial Page columnist has a list of questions that he feels need to be addressed, following the death of the Walmart worker. The first and most important question is “Have stores gone too far in trying to convince shoppers to arrive in throngs in early morning hours the day after Thanksgiving?”

    these people are so mad were they closing their eyes and walking or what they couldn’t see if a man fell on the floor and risking it’s life there
