Xbox 360 Jasper has been found
By: Alan Ng | November 28, 2008 | 3 CommentsThere has been news that the ‘Jasper’ motherboards for the Xbox 360 are finally starting to become available to buy. Hopefully these new chips from Microsoft will put an end to all the hardware problems that gamers have been experiencing with their console.
Pictures over at Engadget show a 150W power supply, a manufacturing date of 2008-10-23 and a 0843X, leading to speculation that Jasper consoles are on the way to stores. These new chips are meant to reduce heat generated from the processors and they have a lower cost of production unlike its previous revisions.
We will have to keep an eye on the Jasper consoles as I’m sure many of you are wondering if this new chips will prevent RROD or similar problems, let’s hope so. If you would like to view some pictures from this story, follow the link below.
