Videogames and Vacation: Nintendo, Sony Corp and Apple

The Holiday travel season will soon be upon us, and video game makers have made sure that holiday makers are able to travel with their handheld games consoles as well as all the latest games to go with them. They are easy to carry, so ideal on planes, trains as well as boats.

Nintendo, Sony and Apple all have a handheld system where gamers can play games on the move. Nintendo have the DS, and are offering a great bundle deal, which comes with the New Super Mario Bros. The console comes in Ice Blue.

Sony have the PSP 3000 (PlayStation Portable), this is much like the older PSP which was launched in 2004, but is slimmer and has a higher resolution screen and a built-in microphone. This is great as gamers can chat to each other while playing their game.

Apple is new to the handheld party, but their answer is not a dedicated handled. Instead they have the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Both offer a way for you to purchase games for download cheaply, but are much more than just a portable games console.

All of these products have one thing in common; they can help pass the time away when you are traveling to your holiday destination.
