Xbox 360’s hardware sales turnaround in Japan
Filed under: Gaming, Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 might be starting to progress over in the Japanese market, as recent sales over there predict that Japanese fans might be warming to Microsoft’s console at last.
During the time of the Tokyo Game Show 2008, Japanese magazine Famitsu had published hardware sales for that period and it showed the Xbox 360 was ahead of Sony’s PS3 in sales for the fourth week in a row.
With the Xbox 360 now at a cheaper price than the Nintendo Wii and Japanese publishers such as Square-Enix developing for their console, are we beginning to see a change occurring over there? Whether you are a fan of either console or not, it is certainly becoming more competitive over in Japan than it ever used to.
