Bungie may have inspired Killzone 2 logo

One of the logos that is used in Killzone 2 may have been originally inspired by a Bungie, the team behind Halo 3. The First Person Shooter titled Marathon was published back in 1997 and it does look very similar to one of which Killzone 2 uses in its game.

A couple of images over at Neocrisis will show you exactly what we mean, as they provide two images from this story. The first is a picture from Killzone 2 and an image of the ‘ISA’ faction. The second is a logo for Marathon, Bungie’s old FPS.

What do you make of the resemblance between the two? Post your comments below. You can view the two images in the link to Neocrisis below.

This struck me immediately when playing Killzone 2. Marathon was a fantastic game. You can unlock dual pistols in KZ2, which is also present in Marathon, so perhaps another little homage to it?
