In Detail: Rock Band 2 PS3 v1.01 Patch Notes

Finally at long last! There is now a solution for all you frustrated drummers out there who could not use GH: WT drums on the PS3 version of Rock Band 2.
Harmonix today have released patch v1.01 which will fix that very issue and will allow you to use your drums for guitar hero wt on rock band 2. All these compatibility issues have been very frustrating for owners who just want to enjoy problem free gaming for once. Like most people, they don’t want to have to buy two drum kits just for the sake of playing two games as it costs far too much money and takes up far too much space.
While this is indeed good news, there is still no word on whether they are working on a patch to be able to use the GH: WT drum kit on Rock Band 1. Worst still, Rock Band 2 is still not out yet on the PS3 in Europe yet, and it could be months till we hear any official news on a release. We will keep you updated.

Hi there,
I am not familiar with patches and such like so can someone give me the low down on how they work and where and how you download them. I have Guitar Hero World Tour and someone bought me the AC/DC Track Pack for Rock Band. The guitar and Mic work fine but not having any joy with the drums at all.
I’m guessing this patch will sort that out?
Anyway, anyone’s help would be much appreciated.
