By: Daniel Chubb | November 25, 2008 | Leave a CommentStrange but true Blockbuster finally follows movie set-top-box, many thought that this was not true but we can safely say it is very true. They have at last followed suit and now join the list which includes Roku, Apple TV, Xbox 360 and VUDU plus more.
Today’s day and age is all about digital downloads and it seems Blockbuster want a piece of the pie, the new set-up will offer the likes of 2Wire-built MediaPoint player which will be free with the advanced rental of 25 first-run movies, classic or foreign films from Blockbusters On-Demand for $99.
After that payment it will cost $1.99 per rental, you do NOT need a Blockbuster subscription, the new set-top-box has two USB ports, Ethernet / WiFi, SD slot, HDMI port and is 8- x 8- x 1-inches in size. So will you join the Blockbuster train?
