One day after Thanksgiving, consumers will be hitting stores to get the best deals of the year on Black Friday 2008. Most stores are getting ready for the busiest shopping day of the year, and cell phone carriers also what a taste of it, such as AT&T and T-Mobile.
T-Mobile announced today that they will be offering the Motorola ZN5 for free after a $100 mail-in rebate for the weekend of Nov. 28 to Nov. 30. That price is for a two-year contract. AT&T is also getting in on the action, and is offering two quick messaging phones.
The two handsets in question are the Pantech Matrix and the Samsung Propel; the deal is buy-one-get-one-free after a mail-in rebate. These cell phones would normally sell for $79.99. Another carrier getting in on the Black Friday deals is Alltel, who is offering the Motorola Hint for just $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
