Porsche Panamera: first official pictures and specs

Porsche have now finally released the first official pictures of the Panamera four-door GT, along with more specs. Although information is still scant, what they have given us is better than nothing, but it is the pictures that most people want to see anyway.

Most Porsche vehicles are powered by a flat six, but the Panamera have gone down the same line as the Cayenne SUV. The four-door GT will have a front-mounted, V-6 and V-8 engines which produces 300hp and 500hp respectively. Porsche are also working on a hybrid version.

The Panamera Turbo comes with all-wheel drive; lesser models will be powered by the rear wheels only. The Porsche Panamera will use the new 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, as well as the standard 6-speed manual.
