Onkyo goes from HD-DVD to Blu-ray Players which is good news and the latest model to hit the shelves is the classy DV-BD606, this is their first Blu-ray Disc Player for the international market which is good news and the price is not that bad either considering the specs.
The DV-BD606 player has been designed to partner with Onkyo’s high-definition A/V receivers equipped with full HDMI processing of 1080p video and decoding of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD™ Master Audio surround sound formats. The main specifications here are as follows, high-def 1080p video at 24 frames per second, sends DTS-HD Master Audio surround sound or Dolby TrueHD, 1080p scaling, brings DVD videos and DivX video files into the high-def realm and it can play all MP3s and CDs as well.
The DV-BD606 will set you back £399.99 and can be bought in either all-black or in black & silver colours.
