Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has been ordered to testify in a class action lawsuit against Microsoft by a federal judge in Seattle. The lawsuit involves the case that the software giant misled their consumers in the marketing campaign for their operating system, Windows Vista.
The case is to do with the fact that computers that were sold with the older version of Windows were labeled “Vista Capable”; this was not the case as they were only capable of running on a basic version of Windows Vista.
Steve Ballmer has great knowledge on the subject; as a result he will have to face Judge Marsha Pechman. The plaintiffs, HP being one of them said that most computers that were labeled “Vista Capable” cannot run properly on Vista Premium, which has the most popular features.
