Hating PS3’s LittleBigPlanet (LBP)

The number of people hating the new Sony PS3 game LittleBigPlanet has been growing in numbers, I am one of them and so is the PS3 Blog. The game was ok at first, but the more that people play it, the more annoying it gets.

Gary from PS3 blog decided not to carry on playing LBP as he thought he would save himself for the full game. He had hoped that the full version of the game would be much better, but it seems that the full version has left him more than disappointed.

He believes that as a platform game, LittleBigPlanet is flawed. The game is meant to be fun to play, but the controls often get stuck, which infuriates gamers. Gary from PS3 Blog hated LittleBigPlanet that much that he has now traded the game for Fallout 3 instead.

I had a chance to play my cousin’s game and I had fun for about the first 10 minutes, after that I was bored. One point of the game I got stuck and could not get out, it took at least 10 minutes to get out of it

The scores and reviews speak for themselves, and there all 9’s and 10’s!!! I love this game and if you cant play it I feel sorry for you and that short bus you ride.

Ok. You seem pretty pathetic the controls are fine…. and if u get stuck press “square” and go to “Try Again” you need to learn to play it first lol yer i’m bored of the story mode finished it completely but i’m having loads of fun making my own levels and having all my friends play them. Its nice when you get loads of “Hearts” from people. :) Im on LBP now and im having loads of fun helping this other guy complete the game…. P.S he is a noob

Produce the stats please, or links to the ‘growing numbers’. If these aren’t provided, can the article be ammended accordingly to show that this is the opinion of ‘Gary’ only.

    Thank you.

Also, strong multiplatform is the best thing to happen to next gen. Without a dominant market leader (like the PS2 last gen) both platforms will drive each other to heights that may have not been reached without the competition. The only winners are us. Long may these consoles continue to fight side by side, driving down price and producing great multiplatorm games. Only 1 hour to I finish work and can get back on COD5. woo hoo.

To the fanboys on both sides, life is good guys. Whether you’re playing GOW2 or Resistance2, who cares as long as these great games continue to get made. It now seems a lifetime ago that I had to put up with laggy PC Medal of Honor games (just 6 years ago)… life really is great for gamers at the moment. :-)

look, everyone has their own opinions but stop trying to bring down a game just because you don’t like it. this is an entirely new game that people obviously spent a lot of time making. just cause your too stupid to control a 2D platformer without freaking out on the controls, doesn’t mean everyone else is that dumb. yeah im a ps3 fanboy, but that don’t mean i hate the xbox. as for my opinion, i think this game is amazing and extremely fun. i went to my friends house one day and i found it was full of hardcore gears of war xbox fans. i had the only ps3 there. i popped LBP in, and no one could put it down. of course, when they first saw it, they said WTF is this sh** . but once we all started playing, we were all having a fun time. i know you cant judge a game by a review, but look at them all! every review i have seen has been between a 9 and 10. ( a hint at the dumb*** that got stuck for 10 minutes, push square and go to the TRY AGAIN icon and hold ‘x’ , you will pop and go back to a respawn point) :)

Game review sites get paid to give high scores. Its called advertising dollars.!!

This game has its moments but its not fun for long..

hey ps3 fanboys…every game is a perfect 10, buy 3 copies, all of them are the best game ever made…

I have LBP and have had since it was RELEASED, and I enjoy it about as much as any consumer — played it for a little while, then get bored. I desperately want to make a level on there but the building mechanics are still pretty confusing to me.

Overall, I play it when my friend and I get together and we want to play and rate other peoples levels who’ve taken the time to build them. It’s a great gaming experience even if you’re not into the whole building levels thing. Go and play someone else’s. :) The best part IMO, is that you can find any levels suited to your needs by using the search function in the game.

Oh, and IF you get stuck? There’s a little button on the bottom-right cornenr of the poppit-menu that respawns you to the nearest ‘checkpoint’. au revoir et salut

why do people get called “fanboy” for liking a game? what does it have to do with what system its on? if gaming sites get paid high advertising dollars and suck up than why do games get bad reviews? remember alone in the dark? they advertised the crap out of that game. not fully convinced by your logic.

this is the worst website ever, it actually makes me laugh. so sad that the internet let’s you write these terrible reviews. this article sounds like a 8 year old wrote it.

this game is awesome, first game that my wife actually enjoys playing with me. i’m usually playing COD5 or resistance 2 or Socom, but this is definitely a relaxing game that i enjoy.

i’m going to personally going to delete this website off the internet so no one has to read “articles” that microsoft paid some xbox kid to write.
