Dell Studio XPS Intel Core i7 Review
By: Peter Chubb | November 24, 2008 | 1 CommentA number of computer manufactures have already started to include the new Intel Core i7 into their range of computers. One of the first was Dell, and the desktop in question is the Dell Studio XPS, which is a midrange desktop aimed at content creation professionals.
Most of the Intel Core i7 CPU’s are to be used in gaming desktops, so having it power a midrange PC is a little strange. Desktop Review decided to see how the Dell Studio XPS Intel Core i7 performs, and have written an extensive review.
They note that the computer is very fast as well as very reliable. Desktop review did note that although the system is fast, the storage solution that comes with it is not. The design of the system is also another downside for the Dell XPS Studio, it is not a bad one, but just hard to tell it apart from some of their other models.
