BlackBerry Storm 9530: Verizon Wireless First Weekend
Filed under: Cell Phone Information, Cell Phones

The BlackBerry Storm on the Verizon carrier has only been out for a few days now, but has the weekend sales been as good as Verizon had hoped. There were a number of reports that said that there have been stock problems for the latest RIM handset.
Stock levels are now very low in many areas, some stores did not get as many as they had hoped, which lead to them selling out of what units that had in their store rooms. Those who did manage to get their hands on a BlackBerry Storm had activation issues.
It seems that Verizon servers were met with the same hassles that the iPhone 3G had on AT&T. It should not be long before Verizon sort out their server issues, but it is another issue as to when stores will get more units delivered.
