Killzone 2 Sony PS3 Release Date: February 17

We have finally had a release date for Killzone 2, the highly anticipated shooter on the PS3. It was revealed in a web video for Gamespot’s ‘On the spot’. Read on for more details.

During the video show, Gamespot’s Ryan Mac Donald revealed that the game will be released on the 17th February 2009. Along with that announcement, you can also see him talking about how the game is shaping up, as the video shows him playing in the current multiplayer beta that is underway.

Confusingly though, Amazon have listed the game as being due for release on the 1st February, so I think after Ryan’s comments, we should be hearing more news on this, hoping something official from Guerrilla Games themselves.
