An article over at gamesindustry.biz has said that America’s largest retailer Gamestop will struggle to maintain stock for the Nintendo Wii this Christmas.
While the console will be in short stocks, gamespot also said that the Wii-Fit peripheral is in very high demand at the moment, and they revealed it always sells out as soon as it hits the stores. David Carlson from Gamestop added, ‘’ And although the Wii hardware is in very good supply right now we believe it may as well be out of stock by the holiday season.’’
Well let that be a warning to gamers out there who want to pick up a Wii this Christmas. By the looks of things there are going to be very few units available so it might be worth checking online retailers in advance so you don’t get disappointed.
