Fiio E5 headphone Amplifier with iPod Shuffle’s Body
By: Peter Chubb | November 21, 2008 | 1 CommentHere we have the Fiio E5 clip-on headphone Amplifier, and it certainly looks a lot like the Apple iPod Shuffle. This cool device will help to boost the volume from any media player, and will help to give a better quality sound that comes out of your earphones.
The Fiio E5 measures just 44 x 38 x 12.2mm, but don’t let the small size put you off; your sound will be boosted to 150mW (at 16Ω; or 12MW to 300Ω). There will be less than 0.009-percent distortion at 10mW.
That is a 30 percent increase over the previous model, the E3. The small device has a rechargeable battery that will last for 20 hours use. The E3 got rave reviews, so the E5 will hopefully do even better. The Fiio E5 clip-on headphone Amplifier is available now and costs just under $20.
