Browser Speed Test: BlackBerry Storm vs. iPhone 3G
By: Peter Chubb | November 21, 2008 | Leave a CommentBoth the Apple iPhone and the BlackBerry Storm both have good browsers in their own right, but if you were to put both Smartphone’s side by side for a browser speed comparison which would come out as the clear winner?
The head to head has been done by CrackBerry, and they have a video to go with it, which you can see below. He has done a comparison like this before, but with the BlackBerry Bold vs. iPhone 3G. That was an in-depth review; this video is not as scientific as that.
So in the video, Kevin visited four sites, NYTimes.com, WSJ.com, CrackBerry.com and ArsTechnica, he made certain that both phones had Javascript enabled. The results were as follows: NYTimes.com – iPhone 3G wins, WSJ.com – BlackBerry Storm wins, CrackBerry.com – BlackBerry Storm wins ArsTechnica – BlackBerry Storm wins.
