One of the best forms of exercise is cycling, but there is a downside to owing a bicycle, and that is the chain. These often come of the cogs, or you get greased up if it rubs on you as you cycle. There is hope thanks to the new Trek Chainless Bicycle

Trek Bicycle has developed a new belt-driven bike; these use the same technology that we see in some motorcycles and snowmobiles. A number of small custom bike makers have used them in the past; Trek Bicycle is the first to use the new chainless system for mass-produced bikes.

Trek Bicycle, the nation’s largest domestic bike manufacturer will hope to put the word out and entice more people to park their cars up and take up pedal power. These new belts are low- maintenance compared to the chain, and are whisper quiet when riding your bicycle.
