RIM’s BlackBerry Storm looks handsome, but disappoints
Filed under: Cell Phones, Handsets

The latest handset from RIM, the BlackBerry Storm had promised so much, and although the phone looks handsome it is awkward so disappoints. Looks like Apple 1 BlackBerry 0. Ever since Apple gave the world the iPhone, BlackBerry fans have been hoping that RIM will be able to offer a touch screen phone to rival the ultimate handset.
The BlackBerry Storm has been hyped up by RIM to be that phone, but the phone might not be the BlackBerry savior. PC World has been taking a closer look at the phone just to see where the Storm has gone wrong.
The main downside to the phone is with the capacitive touch screen, which is a mechanical component. You see the whole of the screen acts as one huge button for confirming your actions. This system that RIM went for is more confusing than anything, meaning that RIM’s first go at a touch screen phone is a failure.
