Microsoft Rep Knew Xbox 360 RROD with New Xbox Experience

The brown stuff is about to hit the fan for Microsoft, as more than a week ago GamingConfidential had reported that a customer service rep for Microsoft knew that there would be an outbreak of the Red Ring of Death issue for the Xbox 360 once users upgraded to Experience.
Many people had thought nothing of what the representative foresaw, it seems that the prediction has held true, now Microsoft service lines are hot as angry customers are phoning up to report that their consoles now have the RRoD.
The rep was quoted as saying “I hate what the company did this year.” The rep also added “They released the New Xbox Experience a few days after the extended warranty period ended for most users and it’s tough to explain that to raging callers. How do you say that MS just screwed them all?”
The rep has now said that staff is now getting calls from crying kids, as well as death threats. It certainly shows that if you have an Xbox 360, you are on borrowed time. If what the rep says is true, then Microsoft has some tough questions to answer.

i recommend to all new and pro gamers to use ^ ^
I wouldn’t believe this tripe. This site is run by Dansway Communications Ltd - the same people behind http://www.ps3daily.co.uk (another misinformation site) - I figure this is Sony’s viral marketing team at it again.
I had this problem last year twice the first time I took it back I got a new one at best buy. The second time though the warranty was up and microsoft said they could not do anything about it, unless I paid $140 for the repair and that didn’t include shipping and handling. I was pretty mad but I did some across a repair guide, with videos for like $20 and it saved my gamer score from suffering ha. It took about an hour to fix my rrod error and opening the console was a snap. I got it from http://redringxbox360.com if you are having the same problems and microsuck wants you to shell out more money I suggest getting a repair guide.
Hey Eric, nice bit of advertising for your website, shame you didn’t read the report above, which in itself is a nice bit of muckslinging. Why exactly would the new interface cause a hardware failure? Sony can’t get their own act together and are suffering loss of sales, so instead of dropping their prices and highlighting the positives of their product they resort to this nonsense. About as believable as the people claiming to have suffered the RROD 5 or more times.
Hmmm, sounds like propaganda bull to me.
Yes this site is a Sony site, looks like they are getting really desperate now. But there main problem is the PS3 is not good enough, there have been many reasons for this but the bottom line is the 360 is so good that even a few RROD haven’t put people off. Oh and just to balance this argument the PS3 update has cost me £150 because it bricked my PS3 and Sony would not have anything to do with it. So I had to go to my local computer store and they sorted it.
I own a PS3 & a 2 360’s (one is in a spare room & is used as back up!) but i would happily buy a new 360 every year!, than only have my PS3 to play, that’s how good I think the 360 is. I got my 360 day 1 & had to send it back twice (hence why i bought an elite & now keep my old one as back up) but the PS3 i don’t really use as a console, i watch films on it, i listen to music, its a great media player, but for games, its 360 all the way. The Rrod problems with the 360 haven’t changed my views on what is a fantastic games console……now home to play LEFT 4 DEAD!!!! yeeeaah!!!
Everything posted on product-reviews.net is just so well sourced and researched, it scares me. When I want to know the truth, I know where to go…
Other sites must cower in the shadow of their journalistic prowess…..
Sounds like the time they knowingly launched a faulty console on the world, because they know idiots would still buy it…
