Microsoft Promotes Sony PlayStation with Vista Ads

Microsoft must be kicking themselves right now, as they handed out leaflets to promote Windows Vista, but instead of the Vista ad, they accidentally advertised the PlayStation instead. If you look at the image carefully from the link below, you will see two boys happily playing on a PlayStation.

This has to be the best form of advertising ever for Sony, as Microsoft has picked up the bill. This is sure to ruffle a few feathers; heads will have to roll for this one. It is no secret that both companies are rivals when it comes to their games consoles.

There is one saving grace though, looking at the two boys playing the games consoles, it looks as if they are PS2 controllers, would have been much worse if it was a PS3. Oh well Microsoft have the money, they can afford to advertise for Sony, who next Nintendo?

This is hilarous. I saw the article yesterday. I can’t believe that someone from M$ did not catch this before releasing it.

Oh well. More exposure for Sony.

It’s not quite as bad as Sony’s marketing gafs, using PGR3 on the PlayStation Store for example.
