Apple iPod Touch: Detailed look at 2nd generation
By: Mark Chubb | November 20, 2008
Now when it comes to the all new next generation 2nd generation Apple iPod Touch many say that it does near enough everything the iPhone does, well to look more into this BusinessWeek have done their very own review on this product which we will summarize.
Now normally sequels normally fail to deliver but it seems this is not the case when it comes down to the Apple iPod Touch, Apple has definitely made this one work better, look better and even feel better in the hand. Apple has done many things like tweak the looks and of course the size which is now 4.1 inches by 2.4 inches by 0.33 inches weighing in at only 4.05 ounces. The stainless steel casing looks fantastic but the all new iPhone 3G has the plastic backing.
BusinessWeek breaks down its review in 3 simple categories which are “New Speakers”, “Blackjack, Too” and “Fatter Margins”. They say that the good points include built-in Wi-Fi, large screen and many applications, the bad points however include slightly underpowered external speakers.
There closing comments say that the Apple iPod Touch is a poor mans iPhone. Read the full review here.
