There has been much said about Wallmart’s Black Friday Ads, but the one thing that they all agreed on was how much money the consumer will save. There is not much time left before Black Friday 2008, but there is one thing standing in its way, Thanksgiving, and Wallmart have put aggressive pricing in place ready for the holiday.
Last week, American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) had said that the cost of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner has now gone up in price. Wallmart understand that this is an important time for families, so want to help them out to serve up a Thanksgiving dinner without breaking the bank.
Walmart have now announced aggressive pricing, by rolling back the price of food. This new food saving program will help Americans save at least $200 on food to the run up to Christmas. Although we know that this is a good advertising strategy for Wall-Mart, it is nice to see that shoppers will be able to save a little bit from their bills on the run up to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
