Google’s iPhone Voice Search App Reviewed
By: Peter Chubb | November 19, 2008 | 1 CommentWe have had Google’s iPhone Voice Search App for a few days now, so it was about time that the application got reviewed. Developers have always liked the idea of voice recognition for mobile apps, but the technology has not been good enough, until now.
AppScout decided to spend a bit of time with Google’s Mobile App, just to see how well the new Voice Search works. Their first impressions of the new app are good, as they say that it is “easy, quick, and intuitive.”
The new app is so easy to use, all u need to do is say what you wish to search for and the software will do the rest. Although searches come out spot on most of the time, those with an accent will have a bit of trouble. I come from London, so the software had a hard time trying to come up with the correct results.
