Touch Screen Rules: LG Incite, Blackberry Storm, iPhone 3G
Filed under: Cell Phone Information, Cell Phones

Over the past year we have seen the launch of many cell phones, such as the Apple iPhone 3G, T-Mobile G1, BlackBerry Storm, and the latest to join the party is the LG Incite from AT&T. All of these have one thing in common, they have a touch screen.
Having a touch screen on a cell phone is obviously the future, as these new handset have now taken on a complete new look. The first touchscrren handset I had was the LG Viewty, at the time it was good, but now I have the iPhone I can now see how unresponsive the phone was.
As we know the Apple iPhone was the first serious handset with a touch screen, but many say that the lack of feedback is a downside. Other new phones like the BlackBerry Storm have included feedback as you type, it is that responsive feel that gives the user more confidence when using the handset.
The T-Mobile G1 has a touch screen as well as a QUERTY keyboard, which many users prefer when typing. I hope that the next Apple iPhone will have a haptic touch screen, but then again the battery life is bad enough as it is.
Do you prefer cell phones with or without a touchscreen?
