Samsung have two new phones on the market, one looks sleek and sexy and the other looks like a kid’s toy. The two handsets in question is the Samsung F480T which is on Telstra, and the other is the Hue II on Alltel.
The Samsung F480T is a touchscreen, which is what all the top phones have these days. But the phone is for the Australian market, and is still hot news there. The handset has a 2.8-inch LCD, 5-megapixel camera, 200MB of onboard memory, an SD expansion slot, 7.2Mbps data network and much more. The Samsung F480T is on offer for $60 on a two-year Telstra contract.
The Samsung HUE II is at the other end of the scale in the cell phone market. The handset has a choice of five interchangeable faceplates, 1.3- to a 2-megapixel camera, microSD expansion and Bluetooth. The Samsung HUE II costs $39.99 on an Alltel contract.

My husband has this phone. Since the day he got it the battery will not hold a charge. Within one day it is down to two bars. this is with no phone calls or texts. He took it to our local altel & they replaced the battery, but it has not improved anything. Reading some other reviews it sounds like others have had problems with this phone holding a charge. I would not recommend it. The next step according to altel is to have the phone sent in for warranty work.
