New 2010 Ford Mustang at Los Angeles Auto Show

Ford Motor Co. are doing all they can to get people to part with some cash to help their cash flow, so their answer is to revive the classic Mustang muscle car, by giving the 2010 Ford Mustang a makeover. The new car will be on at Los Angeles Auto Show this week.

U.S. sales of the Ford Mustang for the first 10 months of this year are down by 30 percent, from 118,959 last year to 83,557 this year. The new 2010 Ford Mustang comes with two engine types, a V6 pushing out 210HP and a V8 pushing out 315 horsepower.

I think that Ford is living in the past, what is with their obsession with Muscle cars. They should look closely at sales figures for all cars, as they will see that people no longer want cars that cost the earth to run. Ford Motor Co.; don’t seem to understand that Americans are now looking for cars that offer you more mileage for a gallon of gas.

Sure, let’s just kill an American icon. It would make so much sense!
Where I live, I see twenty times more Mustangs than any hybrid car.
The Mustang gets 17/26 MPG, which really isn’t that bad.
By the way, this article has horrible grammar and really needs to be cleaned up.

What an idiotic article. Ford don’t force people to part with their hard-earned cash. People pay-up because a Mustang is what they want; not some anonymous Japanese tin box that achieves 1 million miles per gallon and provide about as much viscereal pleasure as a 2-day old Big Mac.
We may be forced to give-up a lot of things in this credit crunch but life has to still be worth living.
