Call of Duty 5 World at War Problems: Sony PS3 and Xbox 360

We reported last week upon the opening weekend for Call Of Duty: World of War, that some people were encountering issues to do with connecting to matches or problems in the lobby. Well it has been a few days now, and it appears that some people are still encountering issues.
While mostly, the servers seem to be fixed from when it went down on friday night for some ps3 users, there are still some problems when ‘downloading game settings’ or getting kicked from a host when starting/finishing a game.
It is a bit worrying when Treyarch are having all these problems just a few days after its release, maybe they should take some time to actually listen to all the feedback on their official forums and try to find a solution to all these server problems that gamers seem to be having.

I am alsohaving problems in single player on level 5. it tell me to regroup wit my sqaud and when i do nothing happens
Here it is… 11/24/08 and I cannot load COD5…everytime it tries to download match info, an error occurs…I cannot play the game online at all at the moment. Quite frustrating. I should have bought an XBOX.
well i got cod5 yesterday and ive been so lucky as to get in to two mathches it never get past the setting up game screen plz help!
I have the same problem but when i tell you this tell the other people seems like they need help aswell. Ok, so what i have found out is that if you have your wireless headset on (same goes for the controller) them off before a game. You will know when this works when it says ‘waiting for other players’ turn your controller of 2seconds after this comes up. Sometimes it will connect byitself but doing this i can get bored of doing it lol. Hope it works for you!
Had the game for nearly two weeks now and apart from the annoying things like gettin kicked out of the lobby at the end its been fine. Yesterday tried to play using a bluetooth headset for the first time and now i cant play at all with or without it! Either freezes on the downloading game settings or leaves me sat in a lobby on my own. Spent an hour trying to get it workin last night before realising i’d spent an hour gettin stressed with it when i just wanted to relax on my ps3. Its a shame because when it works it a brilliant game but i’m staring to get fed up trying!
well i brought the game today, and i cant really get a roll on with playing the games i thing i attemped about 25 games and onli finished like 5 off them wiv out geetin kiked out and it take bout 10 mins to start to get into a game like…. also wen my m8 adds me to a party the invite doesnt cum up :S…. why is this??
also wen you click on barracks and go to view the friends scores it takes ages to download just mine foe example and most the tym tht doesnt even show up!!
I’m using a PS3 and whenever I try to invite friends to my party OR try to join a friend’s party….I always get ” server connection timed out” or ” something no longer available” and so do the friends I’m trying to connect with. It doesn’t make any sense and is extremely frustrating. I bought the game for some relatives so we could play together online, but we can’t even do that. What a waste.
I have the same problem I seriously need help it is so annoying…
What a waste of time and money my experience with this game has been !!! None of my friends can get on my games ..we been playing with random people and always after a game, it goes down… To the people of Infinity..you should had never let this Treyarch people mess with Call of Duty after you had done such an amzing job in Call Of Duty 4..
I’m getting most of the PS3 problems detailed above, kicked out at end of games after taking forever trying to get into one, have trouble connecting to friends who live less than a mile away etc etc. Are Treyarch going to be fixing this soon?
I realy do not think this game at this stadge is worth the money. i bought this game only for online play on Xbox360 and have not experience a game with so much problems. Friends trying to created games and can not, Players being kick with no reason, in game you spawn on wrong side from time to time, Battle to get connected to local games.. I hope they sorts this out or I will stick to CoD4 and sell CoD W@W….. Pitty
