Call of Duty 5 World at War Problems: Sony PS3 and Xbox 360

We reported last week upon the opening weekend for Call Of Duty: World of War, that some people were encountering issues to do with connecting to matches or problems in the lobby. Well it has been a few days now, and it appears that some people are still encountering issues.
While mostly, the servers seem to be fixed from when it went down on friday night for some ps3 users, there are still some problems when ‘downloading game settings’ or getting kicked from a host when starting/finishing a game.
It is a bit worrying when Treyarch are having all these problems just a few days after its release, maybe they should take some time to actually listen to all the feedback on their official forums and try to find a solution to all these server problems that gamers seem to be having.

really frustrating now.
i can play online fine with no problems. not even noticing any lag ever or anything (as i often did with cod4).
however, it is simply impossible to invite friends or respond to and join an invite from friends.
really really annoying, what’s wrong with it? is it going to be fixed? preferrably NOW? as i’ve already paid the £40 for the game,
oh, p.s. my dad who im trying to connect to is about 5 MILES away, so no ‘need to be in the same region’ rubbish applies obviously.
havnt had one single problem with my xbox since buying it 2-3 years ago since bought call od duty 5 my xbox has froze too many times and now cant play on my xbox not even a different game !!!!!!!! because my t.v goes so grainy/ fuzzy you cant see anything but black but can hear sound.but normal t.v works fine tho really annoying !!!!! :@
This is seriously irritating, I get kicked out of lobbies, my stats won’t refresh, it lags in game so I can’t get points, I time out in the middle of matches and always get kicked out of the lobby at the end; and most frustrating I almost always get stuck at the setting up game screen so I just sit there doing nothing. Sort it out treyarch
This game wants you to keep playing it but the annoying thing is not being able to team up with your mates. hope they fix it soon or it’s back to cod4.
Thanks for the advice Haroon, I did manage to find the readme and installed the directx that was on the cd, unfortunately no change it still is freezing and playing up & sometimes you cant even get out of it you have to restart the computer which is crap so thanks to all that replied to my message by the looks of things a lot of people are having trouble with this game so ill take the game back today. Things are still bad, i just played for abit and i can finally connect to some of my friends but not all of them, so i dont knw where this game is heading. are they going to get this game working perfectly or is it going to remain the same, i have a strong feeling im going to have to take COD4 back out of its case…. its a shame because codwaw is an awesome game. and future games should be getting better not bloody worse!
The game is great except for the same online problem which cod4 had.And here is a very big glitch that i found out on the ps3 version of the game that i have.I have posted the video on youtube:-

how come i dont get points for planting r disarming the bomb on search and destroy this also happend in cod4 - anyone else have this problem.. how can i sort it?
I am still having trouble getting my friends in my party. I can sometimes get one or 2 in but it doesnt work near as well as in COD4. Very frustrating. I certainly hope they get it fixed soon. I am also irritated like many others who have posted that treyarch dont seem to be listening to their forums and posts to their site.
