Call of Duty 5 World at War Problems: Sony PS3 and Xbox 360

We reported last week upon the opening weekend for Call Of Duty: World of War, that some people were encountering issues to do with connecting to matches or problems in the lobby. Well it has been a few days now, and it appears that some people are still encountering issues.
While mostly, the servers seem to be fixed from when it went down on friday night for some ps3 users, there are still some problems when ‘downloading game settings’ or getting kicked from a host when starting/finishing a game.
It is a bit worrying when Treyarch are having all these problems just a few days after its release, maybe they should take some time to actually listen to all the feedback on their official forums and try to find a solution to all these server problems that gamers seem to be having.

i bought codwaw for ps3 a few months after its release so i may not have seen every problem the game had at the start before any update/patch but i encounter problems too…
when i get invited to a party sometimes itll say cant join game or game session unavailable …and if friends invite me to a game of s&d thats already started ill b on the opposite team sumtimes, same stuff happens if im the 1 that invites …i noticed in cod4 alot if u enter a game of s&d n u dont wanna stay cuz of the map for example , if u leave n go bak to the lobby n try to find another s&d game to play it goes bak in the same 1 u jus left n it duz it frum time to time alot couple times each time i play it …n now since the map pack 1 and the ps3 2.70 firmware update if i invite friends to my party n try to find a game of ’search and destroy’ in the ‘core’ type it never works n no game is even entered ..jus keeps sayin tryin to find match…n even if im lookin to enter a game of s&d by myself it will take 4ever to find 1…never used to do that before and im using wifi at a 100% signal strength so is it just the codwaw servers being weak….servers for pc games r better..it would be better if we could choose a game type first n then pick a map we wanna play thats currently available …like in counterstrike …y cant cod do that…honestly i say sony ruined the success they couldve made with the ps3 on their own sort of…jus couldve been alot better in ways…
ive been playing cod5 4 a while now and got upto level 55. the next time i logged on it started me back at level 1.. not prestige or anything.. ive also still got all my guns ive unlocked.. is there anything i can do with out having to play out all the levels again? why did this happen!!
what does CL-cGameNeedServerCommand a reliable command was cycled out! what does this mean? its taking me ages 2 join a game and then when i dont get in this message appears! any ideas how this can be fixed?
this is happening to me too when i try to join a game it says setting up game… its so annoying and its not the disk because it happens to me in cod4 too . not my connection either cause we use the ineternet all the time. any idea what it is?
on the ps3 i try to join some matchees with my freinds but it ALWAYS says error game session no longer avalable??????????
whenever i choose find match on ps3 it either cant find it, or says migrating hosts, 1, 2 , 3 , 4, and on 5 it kicks me out. how do i fix it? oh, and it only let me go on a match once.
I am also having these issues i just downloaded the map pack 2 and would like to play with friends online but cannot. I search for a game and get stuck on trying to join potential matches for about 10 mins then itll put me in a game by myself and none of my friends can join when i invite them. this is for private matches co op zombies and for multi player. it worked for about 20 mins last night. that 20 mins was the first time ive been able to play in about 2 months. This NEEDS to be resolved b4 i make sony give me a refund for the map packs i bought and are unable to use.
takes about 5 minutes to download game settings and whenever i click find match it doesn’t find anything. i’ve restarted my internet, restarted my xbox and the problem is still there. it was fine yesterday but now it doesn’t want to do anything.
yea everytime i try to connect with my frend to play nazi zombies it sais “Games session no longer available”. i so want this fixed…..
i think i found a solution for the invite problem
go to network setting then check media server connection then disable it..it should work..worked for me..hope this helps…
