Apple MacBook Update: Fixes trackpad clicking problem
By: Daniel Chubb | November 18, 2008 | 1 CommentThe new MacBook and MacBook Pro series notebooks received an update on Monday and the firmware update fixes trackpad clicking problem, the reason for this update is because there were issues of clicks not being recognized.
Apple released its new MacBook Pro line back in October 2008 and one of the main features was the all new and completely redesigned trackpad. The trackpad was new technology seeing as it was made from glass, the multitouch glass trackpad has a 39-percent bigger area than before and this new trackpad will act as a button also, which is better than having a separate button.
The main problem was that there is supposed to be clicks on the trackpad and these clicks were not recognized by the computer itself, yes the pad made a clicking sound but nothing happened on the screen which was a nightmare for some.
The new Apple MacBook firmware update from Apple has now fixed the problem, once you have installed the new update the updater application will run automatically.
