White T-Mobile G1 not coming until after Thanksgiving?

For those of you, who had to hoped to get your hands on the white version of the T-Mobile G1, will still have to wait until sometime after Thanksgiving. It was rumored that the white version of the first Google Android handset had to be recalled, because of a paint chipping problem.

This is not the only color of the T-Mobile G1 being temporarily removed from my-tmobile, the bronze version was also delayed. Thankfully the bronze G1 should be available on the November 24, the black is also in backorder.

Customers, who had placed their order after November 5, should also expect to see the black T-Mobile G1 on November 24. There are a possible three reasons why the T-Mobile have short stocks of the G1, the first is that they have sold all they have, the second s that HTC did not produce enough, or the third is making it look as though they do not have stock, when really they do, This was done with the Nintendo Wii games console, as well as the Wii Fit.
