i.TV have announced that they are to integrate with Netflix on the Apple iPhone and Touch. Netflix is the world’s largest online DVD and media rental service. The popular TV and movie guide will be made available with the app.
Netflix is a very popular service, and with the integration through an iPhone application, those who are not a customer will want to become one. Netflix have said that this is the first of a number of third party integrations, which will be announced at the end of this year, and the start of 2009.
With the use of i.TV, Netflix customers will have access to over 100,000 DVD titles, while on the move. The new app will give you detailed information on the show, as well as cast credits, ratings and recommendations. As an i.TV user, you will be able to have DVD’s delivered direct to your door.
