Don’t buy Windows vista if you are using the HP photosmart 8200 series printer because the current vista drivers won’t work with Vista.

I’ve been waiting more two years for Vista 64 drivers from HP on their 64bit “windows vista capable” laptop computers I was duped into buying for our business in 2006. Vista32 runs about 30% slower than XP32 and Vista64 on these computers, but the computers aren’t much good without wireless/modems/usb/card readers/firewire/ethernet. Even if HPs cost half of what their competitors charged, I don’t think I could be duped into buying another HP in this lifetime. A shame, as HP was a solid company in the early 1990s in the pre-Compaq era of HP.
