Fallout 3 sells most in series: Xbox 360 has 55% of sales
By: Peter Chubb | November 17, 2008 | 4 CommentsFallout 3 has become the best selling game from the series; the game from Bethesda has sold more copies in the UK than all the other titles in the series combined. Sales of Fallout 3 have now surpassed the original Fallout, as well as Fallout Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.
Fallout 3 looks set to be a good earner for Bethesda, as sales of the game have also been 57 percent higher than their other title, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
When looking closely at the sales chart supplied by GfK Chart-Track, 55 percent of Fallout 3 sales were on the Xbox 360, 28 percent on the Sony PS3, and the remaining 17 percent on PC. This is not proof that people prefer the Xbox 360 version, it is just more people own an Xbox 360 console.
