Fallout 3 sells most in series: Xbox 360 has 55% of sales
Filed under: Gaming

Fallout 3 has become the best selling game from the series; the game from Bethesda has sold more copies in the UK than all the other titles in the series combined. Sales of Fallout 3 have now surpassed the original Fallout, as well as Fallout Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.
Fallout 3 looks set to be a good earner for Bethesda, as sales of the game have also been 57 percent higher than their other title, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
When looking closely at the sales chart supplied by GfK Chart-Track, 55 percent of Fallout 3 sales were on the Xbox 360, 28 percent on the Sony PS3, and the remaining 17 percent on PC. This is not proof that people prefer the Xbox 360 version, it is just more people own an Xbox 360 console.

“This is not proof that people prefer the Xbox 360 version, it is just more people own an Xbox 360 console.”…..Sounding a little biased there…
Well, I for one, own both consoles…and I DO prefer the 360 version.
It’s all about Xbox Live!
PC version all the way! I may be among the minority, but I will stick to my computer until the end! (of PC gaming)
PC version of Fallout 3 is extremely buggy, it keeps crashing every twenty mintues I play. Maybe that’s a (small) reason?
Extremely inaccurate figures considering that that electronic distribution is not tracked in those figures. Electronic distribution (Steam and such) makes up a large portion of PC games sales, so you could be looking at anything up to doubling that figure for PC sales.
