Samsung Eternity A867: review, photos, specs

Those who were hoping to get their hands on the Samsung Eternity A867 on November 4, were left disappointed as AT&T were not able to offer the new handset on that date. AT&T will be selling the cell phones shortly, just as soon as they get their shipment.
The Samsung Eternity A867 has a host of features which include, 3 megapixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard, TouchWiz UI, MediaFLO, GPS nav via AT&T Navigator, 3G, auto-rotation, and much more.
As we mentioned above, the new handset will be available on the AT&T carrier, and will cost $99, that’s after a $50 mail-in rebate. For more information on the Samsung Eternity A867, head over Phones Review.

Similar to the Vu, the Samsung model isn’t described as a smartphone and so will compete more against high-end media phones. Samsung will bring its in-house operating system with a TouchWiz layer rather than use Windows Mobile like some of its touch devices. The leak would have the Eternity ship in November for $149 with a two-year plan. There’s already a fans forum for this at http://www.Samsung-Eternity.com check it out folks.
Had the phone for 5 days now. It has exceeded every expectation including great price. This phone rivals the iphone of course, with a great touch interface, smaller size and multitude of customizing options. Only cons: I don’t think it can store and play mp4 movies, and there’s no flash for camera. Way to go Samsung, and way to go me for owning this thing.

What kinda games the Samsung Eternity i really want to know so somebody please answer as soon as you can cause im trying to pick between Lg Vu thanks?
The Eternity doesnt come with many full version games; Infact, all the games are demo versions. There is one “game”, its called tumbling dice,but its just a simple rolling of dice; No score, time , anything.
besides games,the eternity is the best phone Ive had yet. The features are great, I love the screen, and it holds lots of music and videos in its main memory without even having to get a memory card. The price is great and I love it..
i ordered the samsung eternity a couple days ago… should arrive tomorrow. I know that it has an accelerometer and the rolling dice game as well as the auto-rotate function, but are there any other apps (third party or otherwise) that utilize this feature? If so, please post site in reply.

are there any other apps that utilize the accelerometer in the phone? also, would any of the apple ipod games run on it?
I ordered the eternity two days ago and am getting it on Friday. I tested it out in the store and it’s really a great phone. Especially compared to the VU, which doesn’t have as good of a toachscreen as the eternity. I definetly can’t wait.
cnt wait for a week….
