The Samsung B130 is now officially the cheapest mobile phone in Britain, and is for sale at Carphone Warehouse stores and their website. The Pay as you Go handset is on the Orange and T-Mobile network, and costs just £4.95.
The handset is only on offer until Christmas, so you had better hurry. The Samsung B130 is a no nonsense phone, it does not have a camera and do not expect top specs. The phone is black in color, and has polyphonic ringtones, as well as a colored screen.
The Samsung B130 is very light and has a particle slim design. The keypad is large, making it easy to use. There are a few basic features on the handset, these include, built-in handsfree loudspeaker, alarm clock, calendar, currency converter and voice recorder.

why the hell would you make a phone like that?… you can buy second hand good phones for that price off ebay!!
because some people couldn’t care less (like me) that a phone is 4-band, has a 20 mega pixels camera, and does the washing up. I just call and receive calls with mine, the loudspeaker is all I need. that phone is light, sturdy and not packed with electronics. love it. I often travel to tropical regions and most of other phone die within 2 weeks: not this one. cool phone.
