Call of Duty 5 (COD5) Rubbish: Smell the Coffee

Sigh, You sound like you know nothing about game reviews, “ITS GOOD SO WAT GO RENT IT BLAH BLAH!…end”…

1. Game is far to expensive for what it is.
2. Maps are no way near as good quality as they could be.
3. Weapons suck balls

4. The only good thing about the COD5 beta was having super dogs to eat peoples balls. But if i was paying £45 for a game just so i can call in a load of dogs i would buy ‘DS Dogz 2′.

1. The game is only too expensive if you rush through single player on recruit, never play co-op, and don’t have the patience to learn the new maps and weapons. But is that the games fault or yours?

2. There are a lot of good maps and a couple of bad ones, just like in CoD4, a good variety to suit everyones tastes.

3. BAR? Thompson? G43? Arisaka? They all rock!!! Molotov’s too…

4. Ahhhh so you played the BETA, (the PRE-RELEASE version) the full game is a lot better on all fronts, you are wasting everybodies time with half-baked opinions.

Got this game and it’s amazing. Ignore the bad reviews. im a huge COD 4 fan and i think WOW is fantastic. One thing that really stands out is the sound in this game. It is brilliant. Graphics are stunning and the muiltiplayer really delivers as with COD 4.

I played the beta and found it to be so anoying, & crud the maps were bitter < the Weapons are so [ low lvl designed ] the shotgun was great in ( COD 4 ) BUT NOW I FEAL THE SHOTGUN HAS LOST it’s key ability to kill

Im a serious gamer!….CoD4 is way, way better than CoD5….
CoD5 stinks!…Weapons, Aiming(sight), Guns, Dogs, Maps, Tanks….all crap!.. and its a waste of money. If your looking to buy CoD5, !!! DONT !!!…
If you havent played CoD4: Modern Warfare, go get that Immediately!!!…Now thats a fun game.

The only thing im pleased with on CoD5, are the Graphics…nothing more. Graphics are ok!…

If only they could come out with a Rainbow6 at CoD game pace, that would be excellent…but its not gonna happen is it….

to be honest. i was excited when cod5 came out, but i am extremely dissapointed. With cod4 i was somewhat addicted, not playing for periods of time would get me annoyed and i’d have to go back to it. But with cod5 i just can’t be bothered with it. The guns are disgraceful (the only good one is type 100), the maps are not that bad but lack innovation, The real thing i hate hate hate is the people who play it. With cod4 if you were being shot at someone on your team would kill the attacker 9 times out of 10. But on cod5 i have been being shot at numerous times and people are standing behind me waiting for me to die so they can steal my kill, it takes any excitement out.

I can’t wait till infinity ward get control again and make Call Of Duty:Modern Warfare 2

You must be joking this game sucks so badly.
Where to start….
The spawn points are just as bad – no worse than COD4, in that you start off in the enemy’s sights, so there is soooo much spawn killing going on.
Secondly, as a beginner, it takes many shots of the basic weapons to actually kill someone and if you are facing peiople with advanced weapons, they only need one kill, so part time players have no chance against the unemployed and schoolchildren.

My advice, if you want a good multiplayer game then stay with COD4, or Battlefield 2142.

I agree with Simon its no way as good as CoD4 they just copied the game an messed it up even has the same probs eg CoD4 swap guns an u end up with no gun in ya hand same for CoD5 so u had to of copied it. Oh an pls ppl if you do get it stay clear of PS3 version as u all know PS3 online suxs an CoD5 highlights that fact atleast 360 version is playable, an who thought of forward spawning u end up runnin off with the flag then bang 3 ppl spawn next to ya bloody stupid

XBOX 360 review

Single Player = Very very good
Single player co -op = Great fun to play

Multiplayer (heres where it all goes wrong) = All the maps are bugged, you can get underneath them and kill everyone. I didnt think this would be too much of a problem but it seems glitching is the new craze for xbox360 gamers and 7/10 servers have somone under the map. There are tanks now in multi player (I know what your thinking sweet this should be fun… well unfortunatly its not) They are overpowered and spoil the game. You can shoot it with 2 rockets and stick it with a sticky nade and it just keeps going.

I was hoping for this game they would at least give the host of the game the option to customise the use of only certain perks, weapons and tanks in a match but it seems that would be too helpful. Instead you still get people running about in jugernaught, laststand/ martydom. Would have been nice to play a game how you would like to play.

I would certainly recomend this game just for the single player as thats al that activision have spent there time on it seems. If you enjoy the multi player action stick with COD4.

yes cod5 is the best game, but there is too many online hackers that have ruined the game already and the fast rank servers are just silly and have made a mockery of the point system for the game.

2 hours of hard playing and you have top ranks all guns all it leaves a player to do is to work on perk add-ons

there is a few places on some maps were a player can go under maps or get stuck in the map on spawning.

But if servers was admined in the right manner HACKERS can be controlled better with a BAN.

I have run a server for cod2 for over 3 years from my home i have 30 players clan and we do not allow HACKERS they get a BAN on sight.
This has kept hacker down to a limit if all admins did the same we would win the hackers war and make the game better.

you can customize multiplayer games by making a cfg file for your server this will remove some things like tanks and some guns can also be removed.

see if you can download a cfg file maker for cod5 i know this can be done as there is a few servers online with no tanks on tank maps.

plus there is a few rifle only servers online.
you can always ask a admin of the server for help most are good people and are willing to help out.

Ok, well, what is so good about the multiplayer? Are the weapons balanced? Can an SMG accurately shoot at over 50/100 yards? Do the perks completely unbalance play by awarding those who religiousely play the game? Why should someone who has no social life have a better chance in a game? Fair? Should you be walking around and suddenly be faced by three opponents who suddenly spawn in from heaven? And the real crunch, should you be constantly shot at by those who camp behind you because I level designer somewhere was too incompentant to programme a decent map? Yer, in theory large circular maps with moving spawns would work if people talk, but then who experiences that on XBOX live?!?!

COD4 was nothing special, in fact it induced more yawns than excitement, so why the **** should this be!?!?

Ok, I started to really hate this game at about the end of Jan to the start of Feb. The Queston … why?

Well, when you think about it, the maps are all crap (maybe not all) but most a diabolical. Where’s the Sniper map?

Guns: Why would anyone ever born with even one brain cell want to use an arisaka?? Plus guns like the MP40 are just perfect noob spay guns. Where’s the skill?

There’s a lot more to say but i will end with this:

The one thing that drives me up the wall with this is the people. Argh. Most of the Hi-scores have someone who should be up there plus, i’ve played with the 31st and the 12th best players and they were awful. OMG. my friends are the worst. Getting Xboxes for Christmas and getting cod aswell. Thinking there amazing because by april there a second prestige and have played on the game for over 6 days. And they wont stop. Treyach have brainwashed them with this crap game.

Well COD5 is not as good as COD4 by far, If you ask me it is a noobs game guns are complete pile of along with dog of war.
Cod4 had helicopter that got on nerves so they go and put in dogs of war.
Game play is utter pants online servers lag kick you for no reason on joining it.
Yet more patch’s to repair shoddy work at was tested in beta versions.
Plus’s ok if your a hacker noob or got a supper computer and like to camp.

I wish i had never got the game and saved my cash for something else that is much better. COD6 will be just as pants as COD5 with as many patches to download and install.
Well done activation for farming out a good game and turning it in to a pile of poo.
Cod 4 is not that good but as least you can play it for fun with a few m8′s i had a server there for a while but now gone back to COD2, best cod games was COD/UO/COD2 the rest have gone down hill fast.
