USB Fever: Charging Gadgets Made Easy

When it comes to charging our gadgets these days we should forget about mains plug chargers and start thinking USB, so many devices can be charged by a USB port today and even more people do not take advantage of this cool, yet simple technology.

We have been sent three USB charging devices from usbfever.com, already knowing how good some of these devices can be we were positive before reviewing.

First up was the “Car Charger with 4 USB Ports and 1 Cigarette Socket”, USB fever sell this device at $22.99, which we are sure is made back fairly fast thanks to savings on batteries and convenience.

Any device that relies on a USB port for power or can be adapted with an accessory can benefit from this 4 USB Port car charger. That includes MP3 players, Apple iPods or iPhone and GPS devices.

While it’s a simple device, the idea of having four USB ports is most welcomed and means that many more devices can be charged at once. This saves for the need of a cigarette socket splitter as well.

Next up was the “USB Car Charger Adapter with Dual USB Sockets”; this device is much the same as the above but with two USB sockets instead.

If you need more than one USB socket in your car for changing devices but four is too many, then you can save yourself a little money by getting this version at a lower price of $13.99.

Something a little different this time, this is the “USB AAA Battery Charger with Torch” and it will not only shine a little light when needed, but also can charge devices via the internal batteries.

The USB AAA Battery Charger can charge Sony PSP’s, iPod and iPhones, PDAs, cell phones and many other USB powered devices. This is very handy when your on long trips or run out of battery life with gaming devices or cell phones often.
