RIM BlackBerry Storm Verizon Launch Date: November 21
Filed under: Cell Phone Information, Cell Phones

The BlackBerry Storm from RIM is to launch in the UK on Vodafone on November 14, and the U.S. was to have a launch date of November 24. This did not go down well with those who wanted to get their hands on the first touch-screen BlackBerry, so Verizon have moved the launch date forward to November 21.
The BlackBerry Storm might not be the iPhone beater that RIM had hoped for, but the worries of a price over $200 have now passed. The new handset will have a price of $199.99 that is on a two-year contract and with $50 mail-in rebate.
So there is just one week and one day to wait to get your hands on the first Verizon phone with global 3G, the lack of Wi-Fi is still a concern to me, and it could hurt with sales as well. The other problem that the BlackBerry Storm has is the fact that RIM will not have their App Store up until March 2009.
