RIM are certainly pulling out all the stops before the holiday season gets in to full swing, this is evident with the amount of BlackBerry handset that they have launched over the past few months. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is just the latest handset, which passed FCC approval and was launched on the T-Mobile network in Germany.
There are now rumors that the next step for this phone would be a launch on the U.S. subsidiary of T-Mobile. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 would be a great competitor for the Bold, which was launched on one of T-Mobile’s larger rivals in the U.S.
RIM has hinted that the Curve 8900 will be launched in North America in the first quarter of 2009, and there are those who think that T-Mobile is the safe bet. Engadget have picked up on a good point, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 has already got FCC approval, so why wait so long for a U.S. launch, the holiday season is the perfect time for a new handset launch.
