Introducing the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 5, which is an digital music system that has been developed to bridge the gap between their high-end HiFi systems and how music gets stored digitally.
The BeoSound 5 controller is the main interface, the system also comes with a top or wall-mounted remote weighing 2.5kg. The remote is dominated by an LCD and an aluminum scroll wheel with a size of 10.4-inch with a resolution of 1024 x 768.
The core of the Bang & Olufsen’s BeoSound 5 is a 500GB music server, complete with internet connections. The new system will be available from March 2009, and will carry a price tag of £3,500, about $5,377.
