Atlona Technologies are to release a new Universal HDMI adaptor; the AT-HDPiX will be capable of adding an HD Audio Video output to your computer through the USB port. This new device will essentially add an HDMI port to any PC, laptop or MAC.
The applications for the new Atlona AT-HDPiX are limitless for both consumer and commercial use. The new device will be ideal for digital signage to home theater and is a simple solution for viewing content on your computer to any HDTV.
The AT-HDPiX is small, ideal for hiding behind you computer out of sight. The sound for the device is through a 3.5mm stereo jack, this means that the entire 34 Mbps bandwidth can be sent through the USB connection.

This is awesome! I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these HDPiX, I have been reading about them everywhere! 720p from my laptop?! Really, Really? Will there be a 1080p one to follow? I hope so, but if not 720p will do it just fine
Just as an out of the box had it less than an hour review. There is no picture for xp, vista pretends it doesn’t exist, and the instruction manual is a joke. Hope their customer support is better than this.
