App Store: Apple iPhone 2.2 firmware update screenshots
By: Peter Chubb | November 13, 2008 | Leave a CommentThere are a number of screenshots of the new App Store, which is updated for Apple iPhone 2.2 firmware update. Most of the screenshots have been seen already, but Phones Review has come across some new ones.
The new look of the App Store makes much more sense now, and has much more of a fun feel, which is what the App Store is all about. Categories can now be sorted by “Top Paid”, “Top Free” and “Release Date”.
Each category also gets a cool looking icon, instead of just boring text. Overall Apple iPhone 2.2 firmware update certainly helps to improve the App Store, certainly shows that Apple are upping their game, now that they know that Google Android are on the scene.
