Update for Nintendo Wii Opera Browser
By: Peter Chubb | November 12, 2008 | 6 CommentsOpera Browser for the Nintendo Wii is getting an update; many users have been complaining that the current version is a bit of a pain. There are a number of new features, which will hopefully help to improve the browsing experience on the Wii.
Some of the new features include, new buttons, Wii Speak compatible, up to six tabs open at once and view Wii mail in the browser. The new Opera Browser will cost 500 points from December; owners of the older browser will get the upgrade for free.
Having the tabs is certainly going to make browsing easier, but most Nintendo Wii users agree that this update does not go far enough. Most are asking for Updated Flash Support, but this is a job that could be too much for Nintendo to do.
