Phone News: LG KC560, AT&T Quickfire and Samsung a777
By: Peter Chubb | November 12, 2008 | Leave a CommentThere are three new handsets on to the market, and they certainly are very different to each other. The three new cell phones are the LG KC560, AT&T Quickfire and Samsung a777. The LG KC560, is not exactly the best looking handset from LG, it seems that they have designed the handset for teens. The phone has a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 3-megapixel camera, FM radio, tri-band GSM connectivity, and much more.
The AT&T QuickFire, which is also known as the Kick is now available online as well as in AT&T stores. The phone is not that shabby, it has a 2.8-inch, 240 x 320 touchscreen display, support for microSD cards and full QWERTY keyboard.
The final handset is the Samsung a777, and it has to be said, it is the worse of the bunch. The cell phone has a low 1.3-megapixel camera, comes in four colors, and features 3G. I would expect this phone to do well as it is cheap and fun, which is what we all need a bit of at these troubling times.
