Impressions: Left 4 Dead Demo

Softpedia have given their impressions on the recently released demo for Left 4 Dead, a zombie themed shooter due for release shortly.

I’m sure you have heard about Valve’s latest title, Left 4 Dead by now. It has been heavily advertised all over the internet for quite a while now, not too mention plastered all over maps whilst I played Counter-Strike online with a few friends. Valve is hoping this survival zombie shooter will be just as successful as its last package The Orange Box, when Left 4 Dead gets released on the 18th November in stores and online distributed via Steam.

Contained in the demo is the chance to try out two levels from the first part of the game, where you are up against a city infected with zombies and you have to try and escape. The ability to play with three other friends promises to offer an effective and exciting co-op mode, while maintaining high paced action throughout, it looks like it is going to please its fans who have tried out the demo.

For a more detailed look at the demo, check out the full article at Softpedia below.
