If you are looking to get your child their first PC then the Everex Desktop PC with its Sempron 3000+ 1.6GHz and 19-inch widescreen monitor is an ideal choice. The computer is not going to set any performance records, but it is an ideal computer for homework.
The Everex PC comes with Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic installed, and has the AMD Sempron™ Processor 3000+, with a speed of 1.6GHz and an L2 Cache. The computer only has 512MB of RAM, but can be increased up to 2GB. There is a 160GB hard drive, more than enough for most.
